JiuJitsu and music both require consistency and patience. It may surprise you to know that as a child, I used to play punk rock music and began performing on stage at the young age of 15.
I managed a small band, and we were offered an incredible opportunity to tour Australia with a well-known U.K. band called 'The Pints.' They were quite big at the time. Despite being underage, I worked tirelessly to arrange a deal that allowed us to play at 18+ venues for their Australia leg of their international tour. Finally, with lots of work and being up late during school night because of the time difference, I succeeded and embarked on scheduling us to open for particular venues that would allow an under age band to play and leave right away.
Excitedly, I shared this massive opportunity with my bandmates, but only one of them said yes. The rest were hesitant. At that moment, after putting in so much effort to make the impossible possible, I realised I couldn't rely on people who didn't share my values or were unwilling to take risks in pursuit of their dreams.
Today, I'm still friends with the bandmate who said yes, but I had to cut off the others. When people don't follow through on their word, you have to make the tough decision to cut them off. They may claim they want something, but their actions prove otherwise.
Later on, I discovered Brazilian JiuJitsu after practicing Karate, Boxing, and Muay Thai. Looking back, I wish I had started with Brazilian JiuJitsu first because I now consider it the greatest martial art on Earth!
I have a deep passion for combat sports.
In combat, you have a team that will go to war for you, individuals who share your mentality. This camaraderie is crucial. However, at the end of the day, it's ultimately you who must face the physical and mental challenges and push yourself to the limits.
That's why many JiuJitsu practitioners didn't fall for the COVID-19 Bioweapon Psyop. They continued training discreetly in their backyards, whether in Australia or other places, because they understood the importance of testing themselves and being surrounded by like-minded individuals.
I highly recommend it.
You must challenge yourself and surround yourself with those who share your mindset. By reading this, I know that you understand this concept. Embrace it, set your goals, and pursue them with unwavering determination.
Australian households suffered one of the world’s steepest declines in real per capita household disposable incomes last year. Australians have likewise recorded one of the sharpest declines in real per capita since the start of the pandemic.
This video explains it all and why this is happening. Nothing is held back!
